Designed for a small family, this compact modern residence is composed of a simple brick volume intersected by a sculptural metal-clad stair tower that extends to the rooftop terrace. The recessed entry is carved from the solid brick form, reinforcing the home's restrained architectural expression. Along Massachusetts Avenue, carefully placed openings preserve privacy, while expansive glazing on the opposite façade opens the interiors to the adjacent park, filling the home with natural light and framed views.
