This renovation reimagines the home where the owner grew up, preserving its familiar character while adapting it for the future. Expanding the first floor at both the front and rear creates a more open and accessible layout designed for everyday living, entertaining, and aging in place. Carefully proportioned and detailed, the addition embraces a balanced farmhouse character, allowing it to feel as though it has always been part of the original home.

At the rear, the addition creates an open and inviting living environment where the kitchen, dining area, and family room flow seamlessly together. Anchored by a large island, the kitchen also features a beverage station and a walk-in pantry, creating a space designed for both everyday living and effortless entertaining.

Modern Farmhouse Character

The exterior elevations were redesigned to preserve the home's traditional character while embracing a modern farmhouse aesthetic. A carefully composed palette of materials and window placement resolves existing asymmetries, creating a balanced façade enriched by new bay windows and timeless architectural detailing.

The bathrooms reflect the seamless integration of architecture and interior design. Functional layout design is complemented by sophisticated materials and refined detailing. In the powder room, a custom mosaic celebrates the husband's Greek heritage, introducing a personal story through timeless design.
