Contemporary Colonial in Arlington

Inspired by the Craftsman and Colonial homes of its neighborhood, this residence reinterprets familiar forms with a contemporary sensibility. Large window openings, a restrained palette of black and white, and warm wood accents give the home a quiet, timeless character.

The first floor is organized around an open-concept plan with the kitchen serving as the heart of the home. A home office at the front offers a dedicated workspace, while the main living areas are oriented toward the corner lot, where expansive windows capture natural light and views. A walk-in pantry, mudroom, and attached two-car garage complete the home's thoughtful and functional layout.

Embracing the Corner

The floor plan takes full advantage of the home’s corner setting, orienting the open-concept living spaces toward the streets to capture abundant natural light and expansive views, while service spaces—including the staircase, powder room, and mudroom—are positioned along the neighboring property, allowing the primary living areas to remain open, light-filled, and connected to the outdoors.

The upper floors offer a quieter retreat from the home’s more social spaces below.
