Located on a developing street in the heart of the Petworth neighborhood of Washington, DC, this project transformed an existing townhome into four-units. The design intent was to better relate to the scale transition of the context and increased demand for this area of the city. A third floor and mezzanine level were added to the existing home to create four large two-bedroom units. The top unit has a double height living space with a spiral staircase that leads out to a private roof terrace providing great views overlooking the neighborhood.
